Do you only repair consoles for these 5 towns?
No — these are just the towns where we get the most regular customers, so they have dedicated pages with drive times and directions. We see customers from a wider area too: Crosby, Hightown, Aughton, Halsall, Holmeswood, Hesketh Bank, Mere Brow, parts of Preston, the Liverpool fringe. If a same-day drop-off is realistic for you, we'll do the job.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 9:30am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 3pm-7pm. The afternoon weekend hours are deliberate — most weekend customers are people whose console died Friday night and they want it back for the weekend's gaming.
Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?
Booking ahead is appreciated but not essential. A quick call or message means we can confirm we have the parts in stock for your specific console and fault — saves a wasted drive if the part isn't on the bench. Walk-ins are welcome when we're open and not mid-repair on something time-sensitive.
Same workshop runs the iPhone Repair Southport site too — are you the same person?
Yes — same workshop, same engineer, same Gravel Lane bench. Graham Kennedy has been independent in Southport since 2009. Console work and phone work are different specialisms but the same hands and the same kit. The two sites exist because customers searching for 'PS5 HDMI port' and customers searching for 'iPhone screen repair' are looking for different things, even though the workshop's the same.
